Umbral means “threshold” - the place where light meets shadow.

Each piece is born slowly by my hands: imperfect, intuitive, alive. I want the wearer to feel held by them - beautiful, protected, like quiet amulets of strength. 

Umbral grew from a longing to create with my hands again. After years in graphic design and illustration, I needed something slower, something that breathed.

Jewellery has always been part of my path, from childhood fascination with my mother’s and grandmother’s treasures, to late nights in college shaping clay into jewellery I’d sell on the side.

Now, I work with wax, fire, metal, and stone, each one teaching to trust my hands and intuition a little more.

Time slows when I make. Being self-taught means I’m always learning, finding new thresholds to cross.
